Upon booking, you will receive a confirmation email containing all essential details, including a photo of the landmark to look for at your meeting point with the tour guide.

If you find yourself running late, please contact us here. While we will try to assist you in joining the tour, it’s important to note that pre-booked entry times at the sites must be respected. Once the tour has commenced with the guide and the group, we cannot guarantee that latecomers will be able to join.

Kindly arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of the tour. Punctuality is crucial, as our guides, especially for museum tours, will have to leave on time, not only because usually tickets are scheduled but also with regard to guests already there. Joining the walking tours once they’ve started is challenging, and for museum tours, it is typically not possible.

Dress Code

Please be aware that religious sites usually require visitors to cover their shoulders and avoid wearing shorts or short skirts. Additionally, while inside these sites hats are to be removed.

Not really, generally we are unable to accommodate guests without a prior booking. Advanced ticket booking and reservations are required by the sites, and it’s essential to book the tour in advance to secure a space by a payment. While there may be last-minute openings on occasion, we cannot guarantee immediate availability. A place not paid is not booked.To ensure a spot, we recommend making a reservation ahead of time (for our walking tours, the bookings remain open untill the very last minute)

Yes we do, if there is enough capacity in our tour, please check it from our calendar.  Our tours stay on sale until they are fully booked. No extra fees will be added to your booking.

Feel free to book your tour as soon as it becomes available for sale. Our calendars are open up to 18 months, allowing you to secure your spot whenever you feel prepared. Early sign-ups are appreciated as they assist us in planning our schedules. If you’re planning a museum visit with a party of 6 or more, it’s advisable to sign up in advance. Please note that in most museums, larger groups (6+) may need to be divided, as tours are typically limited to 6 guests per guide. Signing up earlier ensures that we can better accommodate your party’s needs.

If you encounter a message stating that a tour is not available, it could mean that the tour is sold out, or we haven’t opened the availability because it’s too far in advance, or we haven’t secured reservations at the sites yet. There is a possibility of late availability, and we will promptly open tours as soon as they become available. We encourage you to check back regularly for updates.

Cancelations and refunds

We are happy to offer a full refund (minus 5% credit card fee and tickets bought for you) up to 24 hours prior to your tour’s departure time. 

Please contact us at changemybooking@connectingfrance.fr to cancel your tour.

If you booked through a partner website please cancel your booking on their site or contact their customer service department and they will take care of your refund.

Should you decide to cancel 24 hours or more before the scheduled start time of your tour, you will be eligible for a full refund, with the exception of a 5% credit card fee and any tickets purchased on your behalf.

To cancel or reschedule your tour, kindly reach out to us at changemybooking@connectingfrance.fr. After the 24-hour window, refunds are not possible, but you may have the option to reschedule (subject to availability) or opt for a different tour, potentially incurring a (higher or lower) price difference.

If you made your booking through a partner website, please manage your cancellation on their platform or contact their customer service for assistance in processing your refund.

Amendments and rescheduling

You have the option to add more people to your booking, subject to availability. Our website provides real-time information on the spaces available, allowing you to check if we can accommodate additional individuals on your tour. You have the flexibility to cancel individuals from your booking up to 24 hours before the scheduled tour start time and receive a full refund for the canceled participants, with the exception of a 5% credit card fee and any tickets purchased on their behalf

There is no charge for rescheduling. However, if you need to change the type of the tour from museum to walking tour, from walking tour to walking food tour, there might be price variations, up and down.

Missed tours and late arrivals

If you miss your scheduled tour, joining on another day may not be feasible. However, if there is available space on an alternative day, we can assist you in rescheduling, but please be aware that a rescheduling fee will apply. Because, reservations and tickets allocated for your original tour will be forfeited at the sites, and new tickets will need to be allocated for the rescheduled date. To explore options and discuss the rescheduling process, please contact us from here, and we’ll make every effort to accommodate your request.

No, we cannot refund missed tours. The tickets and reservations allocated for your tour are specific to the pre-booked time and guide, and they cannot be used at another time. It’s essential to use the tickets as scheduled with your guide.

Additionally, please note that the reserved spot on the tour was held for you. If you fail to show up without notifying us, we miss the opportunity to offer that spot to another guest.
