- How big are the groups? – Maximum 9 visitors per guide, for larger groups please ask us, here
- Do I need any tickets? – No, this an outside walking tour
- When can I make the tour? – Every day on 2 different time slots, 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM
- Where do I meet my guide? – Our meeting point is in front of the ticket office of the famous Moulin Rouge. The closest the metro station is “Blanche” on Line2. Your guide will be here with a sign “Connecting France”
- Is this tour accessible by wheelchair? – The Montmartre area is on a hill, stairs and its cobblestone streets prevent us from offering this tour for guests with mobility issues. Guests with a wheelchair, walker or a cane cannot do this tour comfortably, we are sorry to say.
- What to expect?
We start our walk by Moulin Rouge. The cabaret where the French Cancan was invented ! Our route takes you by the homes of Van Gogh and Picasso, we walk by their houses discovering their Parisian lives. You will hear stories about the artistic life in Montmartre and its historical highlights. During your walk you will also remember the movie Amelie, and feel what the more recent Emily felt in Paris…
Your stop in front of Sacré Coeur Basilica will offer one of the best overall views of Paris. Wait for the sunset and the awakening of the town’s nightlife while all the lights of the Parisians get turned on, one by one as they get back home.
